The story...

Mhichil has left his Court and everything he knew, trying to escape an insolvable situation. He finds a home with the Nakamura twins, a pair of lovely but very bored demons, and wastes away his time with them until he can find something better to do–then he discovers an exiled celestial in an alley and starts bringing home a collection of homeless misfits. But is it boredom, or something more? What does he want from them? And are his subtle manipulations just the product of restlessness–or are there designs behind them?

Soon all of them, willing or no, find themselves swept up in something beyond their control as Mhichil’s newfound purpose takes over. To whom does a Court truly belong–the King, or the soldiers who bleed for him?

And in the hidden places of southern Ontario, the Faerie Kingdoms are once again at war…
